I’m so excited to be co-hosting Friday Frivolity, a link-up I have enjoying participating in so much! All the other hosts are super nice, super funny ladies that I hope you will check out, if you don’t know them already! Even more exciting – it’s my first week co-hosting and the theme is book related! Yay! 🙂
I’m no stranger to posts about books! I’ve told you about my favorite board books for babies, 16 books I hoped to read in 2016, and I recently shared an inspiring list of books that will change your views on money and life. I am the daughter of a librarian and I absolutely love all kinds of books. Here are five books I’d love to find under my Christmas tree – hopefully Santa is listening! 😉 I promise there is something for everyone on this list!

Even in the age of blogs, Pinterest and e-books, I think there is still a place for gorgeous cookbooks! I’m a vegetarian and a mom so this one looks amazing to me. Veggie recipes that are kid-friendly, and that the kids can HELP me prepare! I really want to teach my boys to cook, so this looks like an amazing place to start. Plus the beautiful photography is an added perk!
Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body by Kate Hudson
Do I even need to say that Kate Hudson is gorgeous? She always has such a healthy glow! I’d love to learn more about how she gets that glow – so enter this book! It covers some of my favorite topics – self love, mindfulness, and taking good care of your body!
The Good Girl’s Guide to Great Sex: (And You Thought Bad Girls Have All the Fun) by Sheila Wray Gregoire
No comment. 🙂 Although, I am super glad my mom doesn’t read my blog, lol! 🙂
Disrupt Aging: A Bold New Path to Living Your Best Life at Every Age by Jo Ann Jenkins
The author of this book is the CEO of AARP, and I came across the title of her book after reading a different book about retirement planning. I have always loved the quote, “You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.” I want to live my best life no matter what age I am, and that’s an idea this book supports!
I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual by Luvvie Ajayi
I happened to be on the treadmill at the gym when this author was interviewed by a local (DC-area) news station. Even though there was no sound and I had to read closed captioning, I was fascinated! Luvvie is a blogger and comedian and her book is a collection of essays on how to “act right.” I really want it! 🙂
Those are my picks for books I’d love to find under my Christmas tree! 🙂 Hope you enjoyed them and found one to add to your wishlist!
