Today is a special day for this stressed out mama – my first guest post on another blog!   3. Gosh, I find even though my kids are getting older there are times when I’m super stressed with schedules, school and work. I have to remind myself to breathe and take it one thing at a time

  18. Oh yes, taking a hot shower! As soon as I’m able to throw the baby at my husband, I jump into the longest and hottest shower possible. And I enjoy it completely. That is the BEST part of my day.

  20. I always tell women to pay attention to self care, especially when kids are involved. Think about what is going to happen when you land in the hospital or even worst. Who will take care of your kids then?

  21. I am work from home mom and had to take care of 2 kids & a busy husband. Despite staying busy, self care is so important both mentally & physically to make sure you are at your best for tomorrows!

  24. In LA you can get a 1 hour foot massage for $25… THE BEST way to pamper yourself for sure!

  25. Erin, these are really great tips. My kids may be older, but I am still a busy stressed out mom. With the blog, the make lemonade shop, my catering job, and just life, I am busy and stressed out. Yes there are days when I wish that I had taken the time to stand in the shower to relieve a lot of tension. I try to watch the amount of caffeine I drink, because then I can’t sleep at night. Really great tips even for those of us whose kids are a bit older.
