You’re Crazy if You’re Not Using This App! | Ibotta App Review

Are you an Ibotta user? You are crazy if you’re not using this app! C-R-A-Z-Y! It’s a free, quick and easy way to earn money! Here’s my Ibotta app review.

If you’re not already signed up to use Ibotta, click here immediately (that’s my referral link), then read on!

You are Crazy if you're not using this app! Ibotta

Unlock. Shop. Verify. $.

Ibotta is simple. First you download the app. Then when you are ready to shop, check the app for available rebates. Unlock the rebates you want. Go shopping! After your shopping trip, verify your rebates by scanning barcodes and uploading a quick picture of your receipt.

There are currently 174 stores supported by Ibotta including Wal Mart, Target, Kroger, Publix, CVS, Walgreens, and Costco! Ibotta can also be used for online shopping!

The rebates are for grocery items, but also household goods, baby items, and more! I have seen rebates for toilet paper, baby wipes, frozen pizza, soda, laundry detergent, cereal, bacon, croutons, even WINE! I personally guarantee that you will find rebates in Ibotta that are perfect for you!

Any Brand!

The “Any Brand” deals is my favorite part of the Ibotta app! Every time I open the app there are rebates available for items such as milk, butter, eggs, bread and produce that are not limited by brand. I love that! I have downloaded other apps in the past that were supposed to be great for grocery shopping – but their “deals” were always for things I’d never buy!

I only started using the Ibotta app in late November and I’m already up to $20.25! That’s pretty good for one month I’d say! And I am sticking to a pretty strict grocery budget and not buying a lot of name brand items.

Real Earnings

Here’s a sample shopping trip – I just returned from a grocery shopping trip at Wal Mart. I had a pretty short list today, but most of the things I was buying had rebate offers available on Ibotta. This included: potatoes (any brand), tomatoes (any brand), bananas (any brand), lettuce (any brand), dinner rolls (any brand), peanut butter (any brand) coffee (any brand), and butter (any brand). My total earnings for this quick grocery trip were $4.00! I’ll take it!

Be a Team Player!

Ibotta also has fun challenges you can participate in (usually just buying a certain number of products in one category) to earn even more money. You can also be part of a team with friends and family which increases your earnings even more!

Join my team and let’s earn more money together! Let’s be best buds on Ibotta! Use my referral link, or enter my referral code when you sign up. The code is: kwltirw. We will each get $5 when you sign up, how cool is that?

You can withdraw your cash when you reach $20 worth of earnings. You can choose PayPal or Venmo, or instead of cash you can turn your Ibotta earnings into giftcards to places like Best Buy, Starbucks, Amazon and Sephora!

Don’t be CRAZY!

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, you are CRAZY if you aren’t using this app! It’s basically free money! Come on, have you signed up yet?

  2. This sounds like a great little app. It sounds like one of the cashback ones we have here, but very few of these offer cashback on supermarket goods. Is it available in the UK yet?

  17. You know, I’d checked out this app waaaay back when I think it first came out and I guess there weren’t as many stores affiliated with it, because I could only find one grocery store that was local on it and we didn’t even shop there. My cousin has been raving about it lately, but I just blew her off because of my previous experience, but maybe I should go check it out again…I especially liked what you shared about WalMart’s potatoes being any brand, because that would make a huge difference!

    • Thanks Lisa! I was just discussing this very thing with my sister. She had used Ibotta ages ago and it was very different back then! Walmart is one of my favorite places to use it, I hope you’ll check it out!

  18. Just signed up using your link, Erin! I was excited to see this works at Target. It turned out there was a rebate for something I bought yesterday – and since I still had the receipt I was able to open my account, add the rebate + verify in minutes. And on something I’d got a great deal on to begin with. What a great find. 🙂
