Receipt Pal App Review

Have you tried the Receipt Pal app yet? It’s so simple to use and I highly recommend it.

I have used many other apps in the past for either earning or saving money. Often they either take a lot of time to use, are complicated, or they are glitchy and stressful to use. Receipt Pal is a piece of cake in comparison!

Receipt Pal is available for both iPhones and Androids. You simply submit photos of your receipts, or email digital receipts directly to them. For each valid receipt you earn points, and those points can be redeemed for rewards at places like, Best Buy, CVS, Starbucks, Walmart, iTunes, and more!

If you want to know more, read Receipt Pal’s Frequently Asked Questions here!

I have been using Receipt Pal for a little over a month now, and I am really loving it. I go to the grocery store at least once a week (sometimes twice) so I always have receipts. It doesn’t get much easier than laying my receipt on the counter, opening the Receipt Pal app, snapping a quick photo, and hitting submit.

I scanned my first receipt on September 10th, 2015 and already have 900 points that I can redeem for rewards. That equates to $2 on! $2 might not be much for some people, but I’m of the mindset that every little bit adds up. $2 a month over an entire year is $24! And that $24 could be a new toy for my boys, a book I’ve been dying to read, or even some diapers (hey, sometimes you have to be practical, right?). That’s free money – and I’ll take it!

I plan on using Receipt Pal regularly, but not obsessing over my rewards balance. Then when I am ready to make a purchase on Amazon, I will be able to redeem my Receipt Pal rewards and shave a chunk of change off of my total purchase price! Sounds like a win win to me.

  1. Can you give me some tips how to handle payment using Wallapop? It’s safe to give out my contact info so that potential buyers can mail me a cashier check or money order to my the mailing address of my choice? I find their asking me for my info and a cashier check or MO is a big scam! This is my first time in using Wallapop. Thanks!

    • Hi Tom! Unfortunately I don’t feel comfortable advising on that topic! Do your research and do what feels safe for you. I only used Wallapop for local, in-person sales with cash. Definitely be wary of scams!
